FAMILY IN SAN DIEGO

In the summer, my first cousins and their mother came to visit.  My aunt Angeling accompanied by her two daughters Mil and Lele visited her sister, another aunt, Pilar in San Diego.  We had a small reunion with all in Eileen's house.  We had great fun with the kids.  I always do when we visit.

Besides this trip,  I was in San Diego early in 2000 for Eileen's 50th in March.  She had a 60's hippy party.  It was wild.  Flower Power!

We also went when my sister Chelong was here.  From there we did almost every amusement park. I went to Disneyland, where we were so lucky we didn't have to wait in line.  It didn't start out so good because our luck came when James' leg hurt so bad he couldn't walk.  At the First Aid station, the doctor diagnosed it as some type of virus and required him to be on a wheel chair.  I know he didn't mind too much.  We went on our favorite rides over and over again!   I got sick after three amusement parks, I couldn't tell if it was a virus or exhaustion.

In October I had a chance again to visit since I had work in Costa Mesa that required me to be there on Friday and Monday.  This time we went to Jay's house in Imperial Beach for Alana's (his girlfriend Joy's daughter) birthday party.  The whole del Gallego family plus Jules' mother and cousins were there.  The party was right on the beach.  I love the beach.  I love the warmth of Southern California, I'm just not sure I can live there.  San Diego is a possibility.
